A collection of prints I have worked on during my internship at Type High Letterpress.
I am AALANA (African American, Latin American, Native American) was an annual photo campaign for ACA. ACA currently stands for ALANA (African Latin Asian Native American) Collegiate Association and the successive campaigns are known as I am ALANA.
This campaign encourages AALANA students to participate to highlight culture and diversity on campus.
The campaign totals 15 posters. The finalized posters are hung throughout campus for the entire school year up until the next year's campaign.
This is a logo done for ACA, a representative student organization at RIT. ACA stands for ALANA Collegiate Association, and ALANA stands for Asian- Latin- African- Native- American. The intent behind the logo was to simplify yet retain the integrity and significance of the old logo.
The phoenix is key in representing ACA's history on campus. ACA evolved from the Black Awareness Coordinating Committee, which was once ended by the institution. It made its comeback in 2007 as ACA, akin to a phoenix rising out of the ashes.
When the new branding was completed, within two days, there was a pop-up reveal of the new ACA. I, along with the publicity director at the time, created Wake Up Wednesday, a morning pop-up booth. The tagline is "You've been sleeping on us. Wake Up Wednesday." This became ACA's integral promotional tactic for the following years.
A series of promotional posters done for ACA's annual Welcome Back Bonanza. It is an outdoor event that celebrates the arrival of incoming freshman and return of upperclassmen. Its purpose is to showcase RIT's mulitcultural community, while offering free food and entertainment.
The posters also come in postcard format for handing out during promotional fairs and events.
